What's a good price to pay for a vepr k , 7.62 x 39. Robarms says $549 without muzzlebreak, anyone seen them for less?

FAC has them for $450 without the brake. I am on backorder currently but I hope to recieve mine soon from my FFL.

FAC has the best prices I've seen on them.

Sporting Arms (http://www.sportingarms.com) reportedly also has good prices - when they have them in stock.

Sorry for the omission, firejimmiller – "FAC" is FAC GunNStuff. Click here (http://www.gunsnstuff.net) to visit their web site. After you get on their mailing list, they send you sales flyers every month or so.

However, they stopped listing VEPR prices in their latest flyer – Now they just show a "POR" (prices on request) note next to each model. Not sure if they're raising VEPR prices, or it may be due to the fact that they have been back-ordered on them for a while, and just tired of telling customers that they didn't have any in stock to sell. Give 'em a call at 763-780-8780 and find out!

When you call, you'll probably want to already have a local dealer lined up to ship the gun to, since FAC's sales flyers are targeted primarily at dealers. If you don't have a cheap "kitchen table" dealer yet, you can use the Gun Broker FFL Dealer Locator (http://www.gunbroker.com/user/DealerNetwork.asp) – an on-line listing of literally thousands of dealers, many of which will receive the gun and do the transfer paperwork for just a small fee. Just enter you zip code, and it displays all the dealers in your area. This listing also includes how much each dealer charges for a transfer fee, which is nice for comparison-shopping. For example in my area, the going rate seems to be about $15. Add about $12 for shipping the gun to your dealer, and that's how much you could expect to pay over dealer's cost.

$475. Why wait months on backorder list? The main advantage is this gun has PERFECT sights - no cant. Just 300 rounds fired through it. My FFL to yours.

Shipping in lower 48 should be around $20.
