Ok who sells those 8" 5.56 barreled uppers for the M-16-A1?? They looked like they actually worked??

The M-16SP 8.38 inch barrelled upper is manufactured and sold by MMC (Military Manufacturing Company Inc.). I believe I've seen MMC products offered for sale to the public, so all you need is a transferrable M-16, or an SBR stamp (but don't quote me).

Model 1 sells them to anyone, but makes the quote, to be used on a fa or registerd sbr
there has been some argument over the gas tube in short ar uppers and some fixes and suggestions posted on the old ar-15.com, I have only had 1 misfeed with the shortie, but havent had a good chance to work it out yet.

I've heard of nothing but trouble on the 8" AR15. There is a gentleman on AR15.com who has one and has always been more than helpful to others, he goes by the handle BISHOP.
