I have started production of buffers for the 10-22, made from the same durable black urethane used in BlackJack AK and SKS buffers.

$8.00 ea. w/ free shipping

I have a few questions about these.

Are they solid urethane or do they have some sort of steel core?

If they don't have a reinforced core, wouldn't that make them prone to not stay in place by bowing and popping out of the hole in the receiver on one end or the other?

How many rounds have been test-fired through a 10/22 with one of these in place?

NOTE: I have a black buffer for my AK and I *love* it. I'm going to put a buffer of some kind in my 10/22 and had been looking at the ones that are basically a steel rod with urethane over it.... then I see that you are now making 10/22 buffers. It's just that with the design of the 10/22, I would think that you would need something stiffer at the core of this buffer to keep it in place. Then again, I'm usually wrong, so please correct me.

These are solid urethane (black-harder) and fit snug int the holes but also are held in place by the stock just as the original steel pin is.

I don't shoot my 10-22 that often but I have several hundred rounds on it with no indication of wear. As with any of my buffers, if they fail, wear out or you just don't like them for what ever reason just send it back and I'll exchange it or give a refund.

P.S. As of 6/5/03 the price on my web site for these is now $10.00ea. / 3@$27.00 but I will still honor the $8.00ea. price from this post.
