I have a cam that came with an engine rebuild kit for a small block Chevy.

I'm trying to identify the lift and duration so I can sell it. It did not come with specs and I bought it 7 years ago for a 78 Truck motor.

Anyone out there have a way to look it up? I've not had any luck contacting suppliers, they never get back to me. I know it has to be in a parts book somewhere and the original machine shop doesn't have specs either. All they know is it's a generic cam for 1969 to 1985.

It' new in the box and I hate to see it go to waste. The part numbers are below if anyone can help me.

Engine Tech part no. ES 274 or Clevite part no. 274. Wolverine part no. CS274

Is that Wolverine part by chance a gasket?

Custer,

Those are all part numbers for the cam. That's what the outside of the box has on it. They are cross reference numbers.

A search yielded SangRun's web site.. Grrrr..

However a better thought search yielded:

Part No. 274 is the 3rd one up from the bottom.
