well Im new to this forum being that I just got my first rpk
how do you guys shoot yours? do you go for distance?
how good of groups do you get and and at how far?
anyone know were I can get a sling with a shoulder pad?

Welcome aboard! I have not even got mine to the range yet. Maybe this week end. I plan on shooting it in the prone position with bi-pod. The sling on mine is a Russian AK sling. I have not seen any militart padded slings only civilian after market like Uncle Mikes. Enjoy.

On ebay sometimes there is a guy selling what he calls an SVD sling but it is not it is a padded RPK sling, I don't know much about it but berg mentioned it in a post on the sniper forum one time. Fireman
