RPK Scope Rail- Yes/No?

Can anyone tell me if RPK's were/are equipped with the scope rail? Have they ever been equipped with any of the Soviet optics? PSO or Kobra etc? Thanks.

I just got my RPK project back from Chopperman a short while ago and I had one mounted on it, maily because of my poor eyessight. I asked a number of people and the general opinion is that the RPKs started having the rails installed around the time of the Afgan War and they are not for scopes but night vision. I have seen several pictures of Russian RPKs with different night vision devices on them but I think the majority do not.
