What mount?

Ordered a VEPR II a couple of weeks ago and I need to know if the scope mount that CDNN sells will work with the rifle. It is a side rail with Weaver mount rail. There is not much info in the web site as to the specifics on this mount. If anyone has any info on this mount I would appreciate it. Esp if there is windage and elevation adjustments on the mount or not.

It will work on a Vepr , it does sit pretty high , no adjustments .

I looked at CDNN's and KVAR's and a lot of russian scope & mounts. Finally decided on the Rob Arms mount because it is centered over the bore and it positions the scope low.

The Rob Arms mount adjusts to center the glass above the bore centerline.
Glass is an old Bushnell 3x9 turret knob..

As a system it all works real good together and the results exceeded my expectations.

Pretty well decided to go with the Rob Arms mount for the reason stated above. I was looking into the other options because Rob Arms and FAC are the only places I have found that carry that mount and they are both Zero balance at this time. Guess I can hope that the mounts are with the shipment of rifles and I might get them both at the same time. :confused: :confused:

Looks good. Thanks for the Picture. Can't wait till I get mine, this is starting to drive me crazy. May just have to get the Mak 90 out to settle down my jitters:D

So most AK mounts will work with the VEPR.

Every mount that I've tried works.

Not that it matters much, but the Rob Arm mount is lower than most and also centered over the bore.
