OK here it is. Made out of a SAR upper hanguard. What do you all think. I think it came out pretty well. Keep in mind that I still have to put a final finish on it, maybe alumahyde?

This is how I made the cheek rest if anyone is interested.
Was cleaning out some junk and came across an old broken upper hand guard off a SAR. Light bulb went on. I glued it back together and taped it to the top of the Vepr II stock and it is the perfect fit and hieght for a cheek rest with my PSOP scope.
I glued in some 1/2" thick, 1" diameter dowel slabs on the ends and one in the middle of the inside of the guard. . Gave the inside a thick coat of epoxy. sanded off the ends flush, trim the bottom of the dowels so they match the contour of the Vepr stock. Give it a coat of some kind of black finish and drill a couple of screw hole thru the guard and screw it to the top of the Vepr stock.

That was a great idea and your execution was excellent!
Might try that on mine also..
Thanks for taking the time to share with us!

Thanx HDR. I ...err... borrowed the dowel slabs from the Mrs. craft making basket. I filled the inside with approx. 3/8" of epoxy to give it more strength and to allow for the recessing of the screws.

I needed to add some height for a Kobra on my VEPR K but didn't want to make any permanent alterations to the stock so I bought a Blackhawk cheekrest. I cut a piece of 1/4" rubber mat to size and sandwiched it between the stock and cheekrest to get the correct height. The cheekrest itself feels like high-density foam and is very comfortable.

Pay no attention to the plastic spring-loaded bipod. I only use it for diplay.
