I want to start adding a few items to my VEPR. I already have a Kobra sight on it and a K-var scope mount for any other optics I might want to add. I want to know if there is a weaver rail that I can add to the rifle similar to the KAC Ras or the SIR for the AR-15? Also does anyone have any good ideas for a tactical sling for the rifle. The sling swivel studs are ok for a standard sling but dont cut it for adding a tactical sling. I messed with a Blackhawk M4 sling and I worked ok but the strap that attaches to the buttstock slides forward and back to much. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also how hard would it be to move/add a sling swivel stud to the side of the forearm to make a tactical slind work better. Has anyone done this? Just wondering.
