[SHOOTER]

The first 3 pics our of the sidearms and the antitank weapon that the miltary uses. They where taken by the SGT. on base when I was there, with some flim I gave him. The other 4 pics where taken last year and I got them from the SGT's. photo album. I will post a pic of the uniform I got when I can.The antitank weapon and the sidearms our brand new. I wish he would have but a antitank round out next to the weapon.

Your not going to believe this, I bought off of ebay what was descibe as a russia tank sighting device with a lighted reticle. But guess what it looks just like the sight on the antitank weapon. I could not see how it would work on a tank but now I know what it is. Thanks for the pictures they are the best

I did not see the guns so I do not know for sure what they our but I wish I did. The pistols the police carry now, Century arms is selling for $129.00.

I think those two guns are Romanian PA-63's in 9x18 makarov.

PA-63's are Hungarian actually. The Romanians make a similar styled pistol but of slightly smaler size (More PPK sized as opposed to the PA-63's PP size) in .32 ACP I believe. I can't recall the details on them right now but SOG was selling them pretty cheap in Shotgun News earlier this year (Right around $100 or so, give or take $20).

you are correct sir. I looked at some books and those two guns are Romanian Model 74 pistols in .32. The capacity is 8 rounds.

Yep, the 74 it is! Couldn't remember that for the life of me but now that you say it it sounds right. SOG had a heck of a deal on them too. They weren't C&R eligeable though or i'd have grabbed one (or two http://www.ak-47.net/akcgi/smile.gif).

Southern Ohio Gun had them earlier this year. I haven't picked up a Shotgun News in a while though so I'm not sure if they still have them.

I realize this is an old topic, but I thought some of you guys might be interested. CDNN has just received a shipment of Romanian model 74 pistols, .32ACP caliber. If you download their latest catalog from their website the pistols are found on page 9. They call the pistols Romanian Carpatis, but I believe they're the same pistols mentioned in this discussion. The price is $99.99 and they only come with one mag, not two as the catalog says.
