Kudos to AIM Surplus.... I see on their website a communication banner "Order Shipping Status" that clearly shows 1) there have been some (uncharacteristic) shipping delays because of high order volume and 2) information related to the timing of order shipments. I, for one, certainly welcome this type of communication and consider it "best practices" when it comes to internet commerce.
If only the airlines could / would do the same for their customers .....
