Got a Soviet TT-33 today!!!

Finally bought a TT-33 today.It's a 1939 with matching frame, slide, and barrel.It's in very goodish condition with no lame safety or the even lamer import markings. :cool: Barrel is kind of dirty, but I'm sure it will clean up. I wanted one for about 3 years. :D

Which type of surplus ammo is okay to shoot in a Tokarev?

I think any Tokarev ammo is ok in a Tokarev.

I usually use S&B. Not that much higher than surplus and don't have to rush right home to clean the corrosive residue.
I bought some spare recoil springs and BBLs for a few bucks. Use them with the 50+ year old Toks. Just put the original in a bag and hold onto it. Don't have to worry then about ammo or weak spring damaging your historic piece.
