Bad Laminated hand gaurd help ????

Hi I just got my new sar and the lower handguard has a chunk miss it looks like it was a knot in the wood because the outer edges are black. Can that be replaced its a shame to spend extra for a Laminated stock and half to replace the lower handguard ?

Should be able to return it, most dealers have 3 day inspection period......usually the min....if got from ffl transfer you will need pay shipping back to purchase dealer but thats like 15$ in most cases........good luck BTW im impatiently waiting on the bbt to bring me my laminated sar from AIM!
