After all the hullabaloo over Chicom T54 9mm mags, I found that those CDNN has, 9mm conversions from standard mags with the steel insert, work fine. They are cheap at $15 each, saw them elsewhere for $50-60!
What prompted this is that the mag that comes with the T54 has a nice finger rest floorplate, but it is made of plastic- one drop and the lips that hold it on break and you mag flies to pieces.
CDNN to the rescue. They sell steel machines replacements that slide right on and still provide the fingerrest. They will fit any standard Tokarev mag or the the T54 style 9mm conversion mags with the insert. They won't fit widebody mags.
They make this a very comfortable pistol. I think I like the Tok better than any others at the moment, even though mine is still a bit rough edged.
Just FYI, CDNN comes through.
