Man that's interesting. But the weight of the thing is only 13 pounds. I'm not sure I want to shoot a 50BMG out of a 13lb rifle. Most of the 50BMG's are much heavier aren't they. That ones not much heavier than an M1A1.

The recoil is very light - It has a very effecient muzzle brake . Once most folks get over the fear and actually fire it their hooked for life.

We are doing the first run of 100 uppers at $1750.00 - thats the upper alone. The production upper will have a 18 inch barrel and no fluting on the barrel or rceiver. We are taking 50% deposits on this first production of 100 run now. Expected delivery in about 8 weeks. 727-725-4700

an 18" barrel, I can't afford one unless I hock one of the grandkids, but if I could I'd want at least a 24" barrel.;)

Today we decided to increase the barrel length to 22" - seems most folks wanted a longer barrel. This will be for the first run of uppers, After that we could do some longer ones say 29" . www.ultramag50.com

Thanks for the comments on the UltraMag 50 - The added barrel length adds about 1 lb to the overall weight.

Damn, that's pretty slick
I was going to save up for a Ferret 50, but this looks like it might be a little better....

Now THAT is cool. I would get one with a longer barrel for sure. I would probably get a stainless lower to go with it.

After we get things rolling I will offer more options. But to keep things kinda sane were going to keep it simple at first.
All input on options will be taken in consideration :-)
Thanks guys for the kind words.

IS:
1) How accurate is it, and do you guarantee a certain level of accuracy?
2) Do you destroy the sales record afterwards.. Or will you be selling these at gun shows, etc...? The reason why We ask this is obvious with recent history taken into consideration...

A)How much for the 22" with flutes and a break? Would a standard tanneryshop forging handle this micro cannon?
Ps I like your 18-22 inch barrel length. Kinda like a XM-50 ;). Uhh, what supposedly is the optimum length of barrel when ones goal is velocity? How does the shorter barrel affect long range stability? Would you like me to stop asking questions now?...;)
OOOH! CAN I USE A CAR-LENGTH STOCK? Ace makes this bitchin' m4 socom stock that can be either adjustaqble length (post ban)
or just plain six pos. collapsable. From What my uncle tells me it is pretty tough. It in my oppinion would be perfect for this. If I can use a car lengh stock.
