So who want's a conversion? What kind and what calibur?

Me personally, I've been jonesing for a 300 Whisper for quite some time now. Never had the scratch to do it properly before, but that may just change now that the new job has come around.

I plan to do it the cheap way with an Oly upper chambered for the .300 whisper. I'd probably get an SD conversion made for it once the unconstitutional tax stamp comes through. I have a line on a custom suppresser manufacturer. Does most of his work in TI. Expensive, but you would never have to worry about corrosion.

I have a friend who got a .300 whisper upper from model 1 sales. It's very high quality and looks like it cost twice as much as it did. He is loading a 240 grain sierra match king and has had best results with H110, but I forget the powder charge.

Still investigating that. Not sure which one I want, but it will have to have PROVEN accuracy and very high quality. It would be nice if it was a mag fed repeater. By the way, my Scottish clan is MacGregor
