Just to get things started.
This M-16-A1 has been a very fine weapon.

The M16A1 is fine so long as you don't fall on it and break the handguards, or pick one up that was used to cut the wires on a C ration case. Which bent the barrel , or have the sling tight on your forarm which bends the barrel. Did I mention bolt over failures that are caused by flimsey magazine lips. How about sand in the chamber so the bolt dont seat. I was able to get myself issued a a reliable M14 after many disapointmants with the 16.
