KKF also has the best solution to fixing your Bushmaster that was blessed with the Mini Y Comp. Those things are great at taking care of recoil, but man are they loud. Too loud. Anyway I have read a lot about others sending their uppers to him to have the mini y comp taken of and one of his put on. I have wanted to do it for a while, just keep spending money on other things.

This pic might help ya Recon!
Numbers two and four look to be post ban M4's. Number two with a 14.5" would be what the Mini-Y'd M4 would look like with a A3 TacBrake.
Sorry - I think they look outstanding, so I had to jump in! :D

Thx, RJ! I developed the A3TacBrake in response to braking the 14 1/2" barrels. It was a natural evolution from my A2TB, and was my 2nd creation. Then it was asked if it could be produced as a flash suppressor, and my A3FS was born. One thing led to another, from customers' requests, and my line of muzzle devices grew. Yes, there is a rather ample selection of products, but that's just me trying to respond to everyone's individual tastes. Now, the A3 TacBrake, the A3FFS (Fake Flash Suppressor), & the Limiter are all postban devices for 14 1/2" barrels, as they are all 2 1/4" in length. As recommended by Customer Service @BM, the A3TB in 2 styles, the G2:

...and the G1A3TB:

(G1 priced slightly higher)
Thx!

Okay so I would assume that these breaks take care of the loud bang? At least improve it?
I assume these breaks are silver soldered on post-ban ARs??
If so, how is the finish touched up after the torch has heated the barrel?

No, they are installed with the blind pin & weld method, similar to BM factory brakes. These are the instructions for installation that are included when brakes or flash suppressors (when FS's are installed on barrels shorter than 16") are purchased as user-installed accessories:
Instructions for
Installation
Post-ban barrels:
Simply screw on to any pre-ban
style muzzle and torque to index
using the Krush Washer provided.
With a #36 (.106") drill bit, drill
through the tapped hole in the
muzzle brake to 'dimple' the barrel.
Be careful, and don't go too deep!
Insert the setscrew and tighten it
FIRMLY in the muzzle brake.
Next, weld over the setscrew,
remove any excess weld, and finish
off the bottom surface of the brake
with a file and/or abrasive utility
cloth. Follow with a refinish for best
results.
-------------------------------------------------
In this installation, the heat is concentrate on the muzzle device itself, rather than the barrel. When these brakes/FS's are installed at KKF, they are installed in-the-white, then bead blasted and parkerized. These brakes soften the blast commonly found with the BM MiniY, and provide great muzzle control while looking great on our rifle. Thx.
