I am looking to see how much it would cost me to build an Ar-15 and I have found some uppers and some kits that are pretty good for the price but I still need to find out how much a lower is going to cost me. I am not looking for crap, nor am I looking for the best. I am looking for a mediocre lower. Anyone have any suggestions?

You should check out this link!

Stinger and Mega lowers are excellent quality and a great price.
I have 6 of these lowers and 2 uppers. Carrico is great to deal with!

Fission, not trying to step on Valkyrie's toes, but there are some bigger named manufacturers that some of OUR vendors here at GUNSNET market for close to the same price as the little known Stinger company.

For example, Sable Co sells the top notch RRA stripped lower receivers for a mere $95 SHIPPED!!!! Rock River Arms is quickly moving up in the pack in comparison to Armalite, Bushmaster & Colt...

You might look at giving our guys some support since they are definitely giving us theirs by being here! :D Thanks for your consideration.

Valkyrie, welcome by the way.

RRA and Eagle Arms both make darn good receivers for a fair price. About a $ 100 a pop, for a stripped receiver. I have a Eagle Arms, it has been very reliable.

Where would we find an Eagle stripped?

Yep, Quantico Arms is the place! I ordered two more Eagle Arms lowers on Tuesday...$156 for both! It's tough to beat that :)

I was extremely impressed with the quality of fit and finish on my Armalite from Eagle. See my post at the top of this forum about my investigation into building "a la carte"

Just ordered an Eagle lower last week, they shipped it as soon as they got the FFL. Should be soon, and there's no beating the price.

I hesitated on buying a lower for .. who knows what reason.. now the price has raised to 97$ per at quantico.. is there anywhere else that can beat this? or is this still a pretty top notch price?

I doubt it I have watched prices on many web sites go up in the last month and probally won't see them do down at least not until after the AWB date and even then who knows.

So if you can get such a great deal by buying them by the case, care to sell any? If anyone is making a big order and has an extra, contact me .
