I am looking at posibly getting a Kobra (ECS-8-15) Military Red Dot from Kalinka for my M4A3.
Any one have any experience with these sights? Or any suggestions on other types.

Welcome Col Jessup!
:welcome:
I like Kobras, and have one on an AK, but I'm not crazy about them on an AR. It's just a personal preference however, and not a reflection on their quality or function. I just don't care for the look or how high the optic sits on the weapon. Again, my personal preference...
I have an EOTech on my Bushy M4, but they run around $300+ depending on model.
You can get a decent red-dot in the $200 range, but nothing with the ruggedness of a military grade optic. Although a Czech company called OKO is making a reflective optic with a protective metal cover much like an EOTech. (the cover is sold separately)

I'm using an Aimpoint on mine. Great setup for a flattop. They are a little more than the Kobras. Might want to check them out.
