Dark Green Buffer Cracked

I went to the range today with my AK, the AK had a new solid dark green buffer in it. I put 600 rnds of wolf 7.62 went home and cleaned the weapon. I noticed both front and back of the Blackjack buffer had a full length cracks.

I have never used a buffer before is this the norm? Seems like it would split apart if I continued to use it. I did make sure it was installed correct.
