Also, how does the Magwell Filler stay in place? It looks like it maybe locks into the magwell and is released by the mag release button???

Yes. Now that I have my product, I can experiment with different calibers in the STEN mags. This is in conjunction with the Oly-style barrels that I turn out. The block is retained by the standard mag catch, and unmodified STEN mags are retained by the catch in the block w/paddle release. http://www.kurtskustomfirearms.citymax.com/albums/album_image/42611/106098.htm

Have you come up with anyway of making the .40S&W work in the Sten mags...new followers perhaps?

I'd like to setup for .40S&W in lieu of the 9mm if possible...I have a pile of nice Sten mags at my disposal.

Also, what upper do you recommend...OlyArms or do you have something available?

This adaptor is for Oly-style uppers, which I can produce here from various caliber blanks with my BE:

I've tried my 41 AE in STEN mags and it works fine. I'll try 40 S&W if I can find a barrel around here. Thx.
