Just talked with the owner. Looks like we are a go for August 23,24. Early arrivals on Friday the 22 are welcom too!
Unfortuneately for us, the owner will be out of town for that weekend so no F/A M-16 or H&K MP-5. But I will have my Uzi and I have left a message with the CLass 3 dealer. Maybe he can bring some goodies.
I will probably have to work on that Friday, but will be free after 4 p.m.. This is what I am thinking. Those that arrive Friday good, I will be there to welcome etc. Shoot all day on Saturday. I will cook Sat night, BBQ. Not too fancy. (donations of food or $ will be greatly appriciated!).
Sunday shoot, and cleanup.
Plenty of camping. Here is where the shoot is being hosted. Anvil Rock Cabins. The cabin is for rent for those that do not wish to camp. Price is 275.00 for two with each additional person 25.00. There is a toilet available outside the cabin with running water. I am pretty sure that we can access the shower.
Any ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated! Plenty of steel targets to shoot, three different areas. Up to 300 yard targets. Shooters will be required to sign a liability waiver. (protects the owner, not that anything/accidents will occur.) Bring your own targets, BYOB, and positive attitude!! And white and black spray paint would be greatly appriciated as well!!
If this works out well. Another shoot planned in the fall! So whose comming?!!!
