I have a Bushmaster lower that I put a set of Bushmaster anti-walk (hammer/trigger) axis pins in. I noticed that the pins are rotate when the trigger is pulled or the hammer is moved forward or back. The gun has had only about 40 rounds fired out of it and was new when I bought it. Are the pins supposed to move on the AR? It seems that if they are, it would cause a lot of wear in the receiver holes.
Thanks,

Standard pins should be tight fit in the receiver. I would only recommend anti-walks if the receiver was well worn and pin walk was already a problem. Fire control spring ends also lie in the pin grooves and vertually eliminate pin walk.

David,
Thanks, I don't have much experience with the AR but didn't think they should move. The original hammer pin walked out once during the first 40 rounds, so I thought the anti-walk pins would be a good idea but I have not fired it since installing them. The anti-walk pins don't have any groove for the spring. It may wave been that the spring was not in the groove or it may be a case of large spec hole and small spec pin?
