New ERP System to Enhance the Computerized Compliance of Federal Firearms License Tracking
Citrine Technologies, Inc. was selected by Miami-based Taurus International Manufacturing, Inc., an internationally renowned firearms importer, manufacturer and distributor, to implement an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) based on Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains, to encompass manufacturing, distribution, warehouse management, serial number tracking and financial functions for Taurus' North American operations. Citrine will provide Taurus with a fully customized Federal Firearms Licensing (FFL) tracking solution to extend Taurus' proactive commitment to confirming appropriate licenses prior to shipping out firearms, using the Federal EZ-Check System in conjunction with the Taurus/Citrine solution.
Citrine Technologies was among a handful of consulting firms vying for the Taurus International project. In the end, Taurus selected Citrine due to their experience developing specific solutions for a variety of industries as well as for their thorough engagement methodology, The Professional Edge(TM), which allows executives to participate in extensive knowledge gathering opportunities before making a decision to invest in any specific ERP solution.
