So guys how do you see them this year?
Here are my predictions for 2003
BIG 12 NORTH
1. K-State
2. Nebraska
3. Missouri
4. Iowa St.
5. Colorado
6. Kansas
BIG 12 SOUTH
1. Texas
2. Oklahoma
3. Texas A&M (DAMMIT...but I have to be a realist)
4. Oklahoma St.
5. Texas Tech
6. Baylor
2003 Big 12 Football Champion: TEXAS
I may be a Aggie fan but I am not one of those guys that hate The University of Texas so I do wish them well...althought I sure would like to see a BIG 12 CHAMPIONSHIP!!

I say we should take it one game at a time. Personally, I think Stoops has Mack Brown's number. Also, Coach Fran at A&M scares the hell out of me! He was my first choice to replace John Blake, but then again I'd never heard of Bob Stoops at that time. Also, beware of Okie State, Coach Miles (Myles?) is a damn fine coach.
In the end, only time will tell who comes out on top.

Stoops is a fine peace of work... got to see him at the A&M - Oklahoma game in College Station last year (the best game I have ever seen) he is quite talented... Hea does Oklahoma still have that bad ass Tailback/Halfback? Or did he graduate.. (I hope)
Coach Fran is one damn good coach but it will take a few years to get the ball rolling at A&M I feel

Quinten (sp?) Griffin (aka "Q") just signed w/ the Denver Broncos.
He was originally from Houston, TX where he was the player of the year as a HS senior. He came to OU b/c everyone else thought that he was "too small" to play D-1 football.
Luckily, we have a few other good ones in storage. Hopefully, they will produce as well as "Q" did.
As for Coach Fran, I agree that it will be several years before A&M is stocked from top to bottom with blue chip recruits, but I suspect that he'll figure a way to get the best talent on the field in the meantime.

I do have to wonder about Tech, without Cliff Kingsbury I don't feel that they will be all that good, No upsets over Texas and A&M this year for them.

I don't know much about TX Tech, but I was under the impression that Coach Leach had recruited some talent at QB besides Kingsbury.
Here is a good link to College sports. It will give you links to all of the Team Boards from around the country. Hope you like it, provided you haven't been to it already.

Oklahoma just recieved a commitment from Rhett Bomar for next year.
Rhett is going to be a senior at Grand Prarie HS this year.
Many scouts consider him to be the number one prep quarterback in the nation this year!!!!:rockin:
