Just bought 3 new mags...

I just bought 3 new DPMS Teflon Coated "Mag Bodies" from [url]http://www.cmmginc.com[url]... cost was $12.95 each... about a year ago, I ran over 3 mags with my truck and mashed them to heck...

I also have a few other mags that the springs are rusted... bought a mag rebuild kit from CMMGINC.com, which contained 3 green followers, 25%+ springs, and floor plates for $22.95....

Of course you cant build a new "30 round mag"... I have no intentions of making new mags... CMMG, wont even ship mag bodies and high performace part kits in the same box...

Do the math and check them out...

I bought 30 badly dented AR Mags from an Army/Navy store last summer for 50 cents each.........I now have 30 brand new Teflon coated AR mags. Of course I saved the dented bodies.

YES! Save your dented bodies, just in case somebody wants proof that you replaced the bodies for repair...

My problem was, the range we were shooting at had no overhead cover... here in georgia in 90 degree heat, its gets pretty hot... so I keep my unfired rifles, ammo boxes, etc in the shade underneath the tailgate of my truck...

After cleaning up, as I started pulling away... you cant imagine the awful sound of mags crunching under truck tires! I'm suprised none of the rounds went off!
