hello all, got my barrelled reciever from indyarms yesterday, and am ready to install the innerds. i doesn't look like too much trouble, but i find the pins don't want to go through the reciever! tell me, do you tap the pin till it goes in, or do i have to drill the hole. i have a sar 1 to guide me, but i need advice about these pins. thanks, randy

I've had the same problem with my OOW reciever, but a little "needle file" work solved the problem. You don't need to work on it much, hope this helps:)

Do you have any pictures? What made you decide to go with bluing? Sound like you really have a nice gun.

scubadvr, hello, i went with bluing because it looks more like a rifle made in a time when a decent finish was the norm, nothing wrong with parkerizing and the like, but the polish rifles are of much better quality than the sar's, it just seemed the proper thing to do. btw, has anyone had a problem with globals' u.s.a. made 922r triggers? mine wouldn't hold the hammer, so i used the original, one less "compliant" component. i can't post pics, i don't have a program for it yet, as i said in an earlier reply, the blueing didn't take the first several times i tried, but i'll keep at it till i'm satisfied. it looks good anyway. randy

Global Traders trigger group is double hook design, and will not fit in a OOW receiver without modification. :)
