Just got back home from a local gun shop, Cactus was a sweetheart and let me go ahead and bring this baby home with us.
Monday, Cactus and I will be going to the ranch for a week, so my new AR and AK will get a work out. :D

When speed and light weight are needed, this “” carbine is the right choice. Carbine length, ribbed handguards keep swing weight to a minimum and the handguards, pistol grip and trapdoor style A2 buttstock are all molded of rugged thermoset polymer composite material. The heavy profile barrel, with mil. spec. chrome lined bore and chamber, offers exceptional accuracy for its length and is externally manganese phosphate finished for complete protection against corrosion and rust - as are all critical steel parts of the carbine. The latest M16A2 sight system, fitted with a dual flip-up aperture for either short range shots at moving targets or long distance accuracy, offers adjustment for windage and elevation. The elevation knob is graduated from 300 to 800 meters so that range adjustments may be made without the need to calculate bullet drop. The forged, lightweight 7075T6 aircraft quality aluminum receivers have all M16A2 design improvements including cartridge case deflector, last round bolt hold-open and raised ridges for magazine release button protection. The XM15 E2S “” Carbine is shipped complete with 10 round magazine, operation, safety, and instruction manual and carrying sling - all in our lockable, Bushmaster hard shipping case.

Now I need to get some 30rd mags for this baby, any suggestions??

Got a couple of Bushies myself. Nice rifles!!!

As to mags, stick with the USGI and you will not have any problems. Feed problems arise when you try to save money with the cheap USA steel mags. They are junk, a few weeks ago I pitched around 10 of them. Not worth having. About the only problem with the military issue mags is springs that wear out, and old followers. The new green ones are the correct replacement, unless you buy ones with the green ones already installed. I keep an extra few springs in by kit-bag just in case one of the mags has trouble feeding. Usually a new mag spring is all it takes to make the rifle function correctly. One more thing, unlike AK mags, which can be stored loaded, I never leave my AR mags loaded until the night before I go shooting. Never had to replace an AK spring, threw out a lot of AR springs. I am not complaining, just pointing out one of the minor things that it takes to keep an AR happy!

Enjoy your new Bushy, they are really nice ARs!

Well congrats on the black gun . . . though it's not an AK. ;)

Did you get any GI mags for it yet? Remember never, never, never buy USA brand mags.

Congratulations on the new Bushy. I have the Bushy A3 20" and its amazing. Extremely accurate. In fact its so accurate that it becomes a bore to shoot for extended periods of time!

Couple things....

Coyote brown would look sweet (yes I am biased to it)...the M4 hand guards dont really add that much weight. if your wanting less weight, A1 length stock is lighter......

If you looking for 20rnd mags, shoot me an email, was going to sell a few....5 for $100 shipped to members of this site, only have a limited amount (like 10 or 15)...there not Colt persay...but are USGI mags (Universal).

You will enjoy your rifle, Bushy makes an excellent product.....

Congrats, I just brought home the identical same rifle! I haven't got any mags other than the 10 rounder so far, but it's headed for the junk pile. It's kind of deformed, and won't feel well.

Other than that, it's an outstanding rifle, very accurate and throws a mean fireball! :D

I love my Bushaster too! It's a great Coyote gun, and although I don't shoot it as much as I'd like to, I love it when I do! :D
