Well after 9 years, My RPK will soon be history, I am going to use the preban receiver for my next project which is to go small as I can with a Krink weapon..I have put several thousand rounds through the RPK,It had always been a very relieable weapon, But it is just SO DAMN heavy, Plus I got the Krink itch real bad.
I have not seen any RPK kits for sale worth a damn according to the forums in a really long time and was wanting to know what some good parts are worth..
The gun was screwed together nearly ten years ago now, Has 95% finish to all metal,Has the bipod that adjust's, Not the more common fixed lenght legs. Wood is in good condition..

I
NEED
A
KRINK

I have seen new bulgarian kits going for $600. Thats the best I can do to give you an idea.

I think you crazy!
But consider this idea:
Strip the preban receiver and build your AKS-74U SBR.
Then pick up a post ban receiver and put the RPK back together.
Then you will have the best of both worlds.

RPK/AK47,
Do you know the origin of the parts? Romanian, Bulgarian, etc? Stamped reciever gun? Just curious.

Thanks,
