Folks,
I have ordered the scope mount from Armalite for the AR-180B that I recently purchased. I sent the first one back as it apparently wouldnt mount. The next one they sent behaved the same as the first. I cannot depress the plunger that sits against the rear sight post far enough to mount the device. According to the person I talked to the plunger should depress all the way into the mount but neither the first nor the 2nd one they sent would depress that far. I am wondering if I am doing something incorrect but wanted to know if anyone here has any suggestions before I send back yet another scope mount as defective.
Maybe I just dont know how to get it depressed the whole way or far enough since it very distinctly stops about halfway in and wont budge any further (even when put the whole thing in a vise). Its possible I got 2 bad ones (or they just sent back the one i sent in in the first place) but I wanted to see if maybe I was doing something wrong.
