Odd Post - Any Ford Mechanics in Here Able to Diagnose Codes?

Well, my 97 Cobra is throwing a rich code P0172 - Bank 1 Passenger Side Before Cat. O2 Sensor. I think replacing the o2 sensor will do the trick, but if any of you are mechanics and can diagnose these cars, will that fix the problem? I know if I were running lean, it'd probably be a vaccum leak somewhere but I'm rich. I heard that when an o2 sensor goes bad, it dumps more fuel causing it to run rich. This true?

Hey....I have a 2002 GT and all I know is that if a fuel pump is bad then the car will run like shit and the same with the air sensor...no mechanic here

Yeah, I know about the fuel pump but I'm getting enough fuel and the car runs fine. The only problem is a rough idle sometimes (which is caused by o2 sensors) and once in a blue moon, it'll rev at 1100 rpms instead of 900 rpms (that could be the IAC but also points to o2 sensors because of the code). I'm gonna be replacing the fuel pump later anyway (88lph is not enough) with a 255lph in tank pump for Nitrous Express.
