I played baseball all through HS. I never played golf in high school. Wish I did. I play now and have been for about 8 years. It's better playing when it is not 100 degrees outside. I always play in the early spring and in the fall. I rarely play in the summer time unless it's free(company sponsored Tournaments). I think I'm pretty good but not a pro yet. Maybe ten years from now I'll shoot in the low 70's.:D I average about the high 80's and low 90's. Lowest score I've shot is 82 and then 84 twice with no mulligans and playing by the rules.
Here is my set.

Nice clubs... I need to invest in a better set now that I am picking the game back up. I did not play for the highschool team but I did play alot in those days. Back in July of 2000 my best friend who I played golf with died in a car crash and after that I lost all interest in the game, for years. But lately that interest has been rekindled, I find I really missed it, but it is not like riding a bike...you forget alot!! I have developed one wicked slice, looks like a friggin boomarang!!!!

Sorry about your golf buddy. Glad to hear you're back into the swing of things. We've all been through that horrible hook and terrible slice. The main thing is adjust until you find what's comfortable for you. It took me awhile to find my swing actually it found me. Good luck and good shootin'. Oh by the way thanks for the compliment on my clubs. I'm proud of them. Worked hard to get them. Better clubs do make a difference IMO.

I play at it occasionally, but I'm really a hack. Guess I need to hit the driving range and work on some form. :D

I used to play 3 times a week and now it's down to once or twice if I'm lucky. I'm a member at the Courses at Fort Meade, they have 2 courses and as a DoD civilian, I pay $860/year for greens fees, play as much as you want, carts are extra of course, but I walk anyway. Handicap is a 7. Anyone in the Maryland area who wants to play there, give me a holler - no problem.
