I have a Maadi MISR-90.
My FFL had 5 of them in stock when I bought mine. There were some really really ugly ones w/canted sights, but I was able to pick out one that looked pretty good. The upper handguard does not match the rest of the furniture. The sight on mine does not look canted. The metal looks good; it's just that the finish is bad. The gun is parkerized, and then painted black -- more like SLAPPED, rather than painted. There are areas where the paint ran while it was wet.
I would NOT recommend getting the gun sight-unseen.
Since I got the gun, I have put approx. 1000 rounds through it, whithout any jams or feeding problems. The cases eject flawlessly, and fly about 25 feet before hitting the ground. I've also fired my gun in cold weather (20 deg. w/-5 wind chill), and it functioned flawlessly.
I mounted a scope on it. I can hit accuratley at 100 yrds. Haven't tried any greater distance.
I definitley don't regret buying a gun, and I would recommend the purchase, but ONLY if you can inspect the gun first. A bounus would be to have several to choose from.
Hope this helps.
