In Theory,You Could Do That With No Problems....
Please Note I Said 'In Theory'...
The Reason For This Is Since Yours Is Not A Factory Rearsenal,The Sear That Works The Decocker May Be Worn And Can Cause The Weapon To Fire If It Is Worn To A Certain Point And You Push Up On The Decocking Lever...I Suggest That You Unload The Weapon,Clear The Chamber,Then Cock The Hammer Back On Empty And Closed Chamber And Push Up On The Decocking Lever...If The Hammer Falls..TAKE IT TO A GUNSMITH...The Piece Is Worn And Can Cause The Gun To Fire,Even With The Safety On...
Remember,The Only Safe Way to Carry A Weapon Is with No Ammo In The Chamber And Always Assume The Weapon Is Loaded And Will Fire,Even With The Safety On...

I Hope this Helps...Look Around And You Will Find More Info On This Problem In The Forums..

all of the problems i have heard are on the rebuilt ones afriend bought one last weakend and poked ahole threw his truck already "its a rebuild" mine decocks fine with out tuching the pin however it shoots low and to the right can the barel be replaced with any other cz barel? the bullet placement isent to bad out to 17 feet yea i know 17feet but that is pushing it for self defence any way i chose this gun because it dosent cair about under shirts or over shirts for that matter but the thugs around here seam to like wairing them so short of a head shot a duble tap center mas will do with this as where my 9mm would just anger them:p

In cool weather, I carry my DA .45 hidden by my vest.
The cz is thin enough to carry under a big t shirt in warmer weather.
I carry it cocked and locked. Rest assured all parts function safely.
NEVER fully trust ANY decocker.

Some people carry cocked but not chambered as it is easier to rack the slide to chamber.

Know your weapon in order to be comfortable with it. If not, don't carry it.
