I decided to order one of the BRNO #1 22LR Sporters that J&G is now selling as C&R. They have spare mags for $15, but I thought I recalled them being available elsewhere at a better price. Anybody know or remember??

Thanks!

I don't know of a better price, but I suspect that the mags the J&G sells are Chinese made for the Norinco TU-KKW or JW-15. I bought four with my BRNO and only two worked.

Save yourself some grief and don't compromise reliability of a great rifle. Spend a little more and get genuine CZ made CZ-452 magazines. You'll be cursing those cheap mags long after you forget about the extra cost of the good ones.

I picked up some synthetic ten round mags from ammoclip.com (http://www.ammoclip.com/C/cz-zkm-452.htm) and they are great. They are sold out now, but CZ USA (http://www.cz-usa.com/_p/p07.php) has them for $25. Some gunshops carry them if they sell CZ rifles. A friend on mine got some locally.

You could also check with the guys at www.czforum.com (http://pub69.ezboard.com/bczechpistols82792). I'm sure they'll tell you to buy right from CZ-USA though.
