Savage Mark II trigger help

OK, just got it and need to know how to lighten the trigger. I don't want to go to a Rifle Basix sear due to cost if I can DiY, que no?

I wish I had some insider info, but my stable includes no Savages at this time so I haven't researched them much. Other than polishing up all the internals I don't know. I agree that those Rifle Basix triggers are nice but are a little pricey considering the inexpensive (relatively) firearm it would go in. I'll keep my eyes open on info though :cool:
