What do you guys think?

I am cleaning up my Maadi, and was gonna send it to MAC's for a gun kote refinish. BUT, should I buy some new parts (like a trigger parts set) for it before I send it off?. The new Hi Cap Maadi is made shoddily, but how far should one go to clean it up? What kinds of things can be done to improve this thing, other than just a nice refinish of metal and wood? This is my first project, and I need all the advice I can get, as my head is a little in the clouds on this one. But I do know that I am gonna send it for a gun kote refinish, as I am sending another AK as well.

Thank you in advance, gentlemen.

They're not that shoddy, assuming you are going to either trash or refinish the stock set. I still need to post the pics of my refinished stock set so everyone can see how it came out. As for the paint, strip it with chem-strip and then use some of that nice brownell's baking laquer on it. It'll look 100% better.
