Got my Ciener 22 conversion unit from Bushmaster.
Took it to the woods and broke the cherry on a new Bushmaster M4 carbine with it. I shot 200 rounds without any problems. The Bushmaster eats 22's like candy. I didn't get a chance to try for accuracy, just concerned about function. BTW, I was using Winchester Super X HP's.
Maybe I will use the M4 for squirrel hunting......Maybe? I WILL.

TWO THUMBS UP!!

Thanks for the report Slamfire. Was this a Ciener kit on a Bushmaster or a Bushmaster kit of some sort? I am not familar with any kit other than the Ciener conversion.

I have been thinking about getting a Ciener and if they work well, I may just have to take the plunge now that I got my AR-15 all together.

The unit was on a Bushy upper that I built. I'm not sure who else makes units like the Ciener. I know that Colt did at one time.
Now is the time to buy a unit, since 30 rd. mags are available again.

I was looking at one of those a while back. Just might have to add that to the Xmas list. :D

Used to have one some time ago. Worked fine with high velocity ammo fine , but was iffy with standard vel stuff. Cleaning the rifle was a bitch after .22. Wouldn't be too bad with a dedicated upper.
