Took my 30.06 out last Sunday to sight in. Everything came loose. Any tricks to tightening my scope down? drop of that screw lock stuff? plumbers tape? Any help would be appreciated

I use locktite in the red bottle, it works. Dont use the green, you wont get it off.

Yep. That will do the trick. Red bottle.

Same here. If you don't use the Locktite, you'll just keep having problems with the screws coming loose.

I totally forgot about this thread. Thanks a million for answering and specifically on the color of the bottles. I think I've got some locktite in my workshop (I was going to hit the locks of a drycleaner that destroyed a shirt and then my anger subsided and I took the loss).

Guinny, he means the screws on the scope mount, DON'T TRY TO DRINK IT! IT WON'T HELP YOUR OTHER LOOSE SCREWS!!!

Wow, that just sounded wrong...
