Need some help guys. I have a Carbon 15 with a broken gas tube. It broke just behind the gas block. There is a small piece of the gas tube inside the gas block. Here's the question: Is the gas tube installed from the front to the back or from the back , forward. Would like to get it out without makeing it worse. Would like to know which way it should come out.
Thanks

I'm not an expert on the C15s, but you might try contacting Bushmaster since they've acquired these rifles...
Hope you get your fix.

Well if it is any thing close to a standard ar the small pin in the a-frame that must be punched out and that small piece sshould fall out. then insert new gas tube to the front of the upper just enough to insert new tube to a-frame. Note: you should replace that pin also they can be damaged during removal.

The gas tube appears to be threaded, and screwed into the gas block. Nothing like staying with something that works.
Anyway, I sent it to Bushmaster. They said it should be repaired, and be back to me next week.

To bad it wasn't the simple fix I guess.
