Well,
I got my black plastic MSG stock in and went to put it on.
The upper handguard split on me so I had to paint the wood black.
The buttstock needs to be filed to fit I do that after I watch the Simpsons.
The lower handguard went on good.
The pistol grip in the same that came with the rifle, I keep the new as a spare.
Lessons to be learn is...
You get what you pay for. I paid $40 for the stock set but really looking hard at Wes stock set for $115 ( the light colour set).

Is the stock set US made? Is it marked as such?

These sets are US made... I ordered one once, and was so disgusted with the quality that I threw the whole thing out. Don't ruin a fine rifle with one of these...

I still can`t believe that there is not one american company that makes a good set of polymer stocks for the ak`s.I know there use to be stock options but I think there gone now. Really sad!

I hear you! It escapes me also why no US companys make a quality polymer set? I've see the MSG crap and it's pretty bad! MSG's stocks would not be all that bad if they just used a REAL polymer instead of that hard brittle plastic they use. I have not seen plastic that bad since the 60's when plastics were not all that refined yet!

The update on the MSG stock...
1. Don't sneeze while trimming the end piece of the buttstock with a dremel.
now the end piece is alittle sloppy when fited. They suck!
