Just to help out anyone curious about the parts in the Maadi MISR-90 double stack rifles that are on the market, I might have the info you are looking for. The receivers are Egyptian, yet they are shipped in unfinished (no holes are drilled yet), after coming into the US, they are finished on jigs so that they classify as US recievers. The trigger, hammer and disconnector are also US made. As for the 5 round mag, it counts as three pieces since it is made my USA Mag Industries (the mag body, follower and floorplate). The only way to leagally use an imported high cap mag in these guns would be to replace two parts on the gun (ie, grip, stock, handguards, gaspiston, etc.). Personally, I installed an ACE postban stock with Bulgarian handguards and a US pistol grip on mine. Looks great and shoots like an AK should, no jams. I refinished it with TR GunKote since it had a few spots on it that appeared as if they had been "touched up" with glossy enamel spray paint.
