I recently picked up a Maadi, threaded barrel, AKM stamped on left side of sight block, CA? St. ? VT. on right side, serial # starts w/CM. Any help on pre or post, or any other info MUCH appreciated.

Post ban as Century Arms International-St. Albins,Vermont did not import pre ban rifles.
The bayonet lug is ground down( bayonet will fit but won't lock on) and the muzzle nut was tack welded on.
