I picked up a Spanish Mauser at a local pawn shop for a very reasonable price. The only bubbaed part is the stock. My question is this: Where can I get a stock for one of these? I haven't found much on these guns, so I'm kind of lost, here. TIA
Edited to add: The receiver is marked Fabrica de Armas above an eagle clutching a shield with La Coruna with the year (1948) beneath that.

Humm . . . Spanish Mausers are not my strong suit. If anybody has the stock it's going to be SARCO or Numerich Arms / Gun Parts in NY.

Thanks, Schuetzenman, I hadn't though about Sarco. I checked Numrich, but, to be frank, I'm not entirely sure which model the Spanish is. I couldn't pass it up, though. All #s matching for $55.

Gunparts Corp. (Numerich) has M43 stocks and handguards under Misc. Mauser parts. Does the rifle look anything like this?

Thanks, Sgt32, I didn't look under misc. Mauser parts.
No, it's not the FR8, although I wish it was. It's a standard M43, I've found out.

Here's the linc. http://www.e-gunparts.com/product.asp?chrProductSKU=304870&MC=
The hand guards are available also. I just traded up 2 FR 8s. Does anyone know how much trouble it is to convert M43 wood to FR 8?
