badger i purchased the exact same gun for my wife to shoot with 3 months ago,it has been a royal pain in the ass, it constantly jams after 1 or 2 rounds have been fired through it,last time out at the range somehow the dam thing while ejecting one shell and loading another the rimfire cartridge exploded in the chamber,scaring the heck out of my wife. i have since written remington about this problem and i was not happy with thier reply.im wondering if you or anyone else has expierenced the same problems, would appriciate all replies.

after taking the .22 out of the box, i put about 20 rounds of Stinger ammo through it with no problem. when i went out to the range a few days later, it jammed about three times out of 70 rounds. i lubed the slide rails with RemOil and it functioned without a hitch for the rest of the shooting. two problem i do have are that the last shot bolt hold open device hardly ever engages...and that "Clintonized" 10 round magazine that is a pain to load...other than that it can put bullets in a golf ball sized area at 100 yards off the bench--which is fine by me. i don't use it for much aside from target-shooting and squirrel hunting.
