MISR Maadi sights canted of center?

How many of you that have recent bought USA high cap misr 90s or similer have had the sight off center or canted. I ordered one from classic arms and it will be here Friday or Monday. THey told me that all of theirs are off center alittle but have been adjusted to shoot true. I don't know what that means. They acted like it wasn't a big deal, and maybe it isn't. Just like some feedback from those who have been there, done that.

I bought a MISR-90 awhile back, and although many of the maadis do have bent, off-center sights, I lucked out and didn't have this problem. The two ways I know of for repairing off-center sites is by either having them bent back( a difficult task), or buying an adjustable rear site. Hope this helps.

I had a Maadi a few years back with a warped receiver. Tell me that doesn't feel goofy. The sight post was straight but it still felt like you were shooting around a corner. Trouble with the rifle is that it shot straight and never had a problem eating ammo. However, it bugged me so much I sold it

Yes, the sight on my Maadi was so far to the left that it was rediculous!! I returned the gun for another Maadi with fiarly straight sights. There is ZERO quality control from this factory. They should be ashamed of themselves.

ok, boss, i tell you we really align sights at the factory...buts it's a secret, o.k.? don't tell anybody else about this. if rifle test fires left, we whack camel on his left side ass cheek with rifle to relocate aim point. if rifle really shoots off target, camel gets to whack inspector with rifle. if rifle fails to shoot, looks like camel turd and still has bent sight, we sell as national match sniper model...charge more dinars. now don't go blabbing this around, sahib...very big secret.


oh yes, we lost the six day war because our soldiers were issued 5-day ak's. a sad day indeed.

I can take a good laugh too, but sometimes it gets a bit deep in these forums. As gun owners, we should always strive for a higher standard. We are constantly under attack by the media and HCI, so giving them ammunition to use against us is not wise. Even though we are just making fun of the gun and not really the people who made it, this is a public forum that anyone may access. What you say here may be in tomorrow's newspaper or on Dateline.
