Anybody know what the muzzle was threaded for.First time i seen a rifle like this.:confused:

I have the same thing on my Swedish 38, I was told an adaptor was threaded on, that shred the wooden bullet practice ammo that they used back then.
I'm guessing that this could be the same thing?:dunno:

Perhaps a flash supressor like that used on the Swede 96.

been there a long time.....I looked to see if some bubba threaded the barrel but it does not look like it.....chris3

Not a great top view but doesn't look like it was scoped so it probably wasn't a sniper with a flash hider. I would guess it was maybe fitted with a grenade launcher during the late 40s early 50s as a squad gun.??
