The first pic is the whole kit. The second pic is a close-up of front end parts. The barrel is assembled but not pinned.

Timkel thanks for posting pics. I was going to do that for everyone tonight. My kit came in yesterday. It looks identical.

Wonder why the lower handguards are painted while the upper is finished? My upper is BEAUTIFUL and if I could strip the lower and find a matching pistol grip it would be a real beauty.

What's the best way to pin this sucker together?

Yes, that paint type finish has got to go. I plan on stripping the handguards and refinishing in that red/orange russian style.
