K-var AKS-74U wood with that paint/stain finish

The wood under that paint finish is actually very nice. Some type of hardwood with nice grain. Here is a pic of it refinished and good to go. Now if I could just learn to stop taking blurry pics

Looks like some sort of Bulgarian equivalent of oak.
